I like them both, but I think the second one is better. Hard to say why, exactly. Maybe it's the framing. The first one could be cropped a bit tight for my taste. She seems very at ease with you taking her picture, and I like the way the coloring worked out. Good job. :)

her eyes.. her iris is open tooo wide which means the light was pretty bright. its nice but i think you overdid it with the processing.

Hmm, I thought that if the light was bright the iris would need only be small, not letting much light in? If it was dark, more light would be needed thus the iris gets bigger?

I was afraid i had OD'd on the post. Ill have to give it another go tomorrow. Thanks :-)

Looks like a flash burst to me. MattL is right, it was probably really really dark, therefore iris wide open, then you see the tiny catchlight from the flash.

I really like the first one, but crop a bit off the top of her head. I like the tight crop, but it just seems you forgot about the side of her head. Cropping may help ;)

These also have a crazy nightvision effect, I don't know if I find that too flattering. Could you post a colour version? Just a suggestion..

I like them both but the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw her pupils is, did you do some red eye correction?

I like both, but she looks a lot more vivacious in the second one ... better image for that reason.

She is a pretty girl with a nice smile ... thanks for sharing.
