Taken very late on a summer evening.........

Spitfire at 1/60th, Chipmunk 1/40th.

So image stabilization really works..:D

John, These are AWESOME panned shots. I wish the framing left a bit more room front and back though. I especially like the shot of the Spit. :D

very cool shots..i like the 1st one better..but only cause the orange reflection..even though its a soft reflection..very cool.!

The orange glow on the Spitfire is the sun setting behind me...absolutely NO photoshop trickery..8-)

The lens......Canon 100-400L IS

awesome....I love the blur effect with aircraft photography......works well with the 100-400 doesn't it!!
