Someone in landscapes suggested that they "Urban" crowd might like this one too. Shot back on Sunday from Cypress Bowl lookout, overlooking Vancouver:

Thanks Ride. You might be recalling the Thread back in January (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=633308)when we had this happen before. Do you get this in Kelowna... I imagine you can get up on the local hills near Naramata etc and get some shots of fog settled across the lake.

Great shot!

It is nice when it is cold like this that the air is clear enough to get Mt Baker in the background. When I went up there in the summer, the mountains were lost in the haze.

I almost didn't go up. My wife was giving me a hard time about getting up so early to "roll the dice" about a potential shot.

Heck - most DAYS it's too hazy... the city smog usually drifts eastward obscuring the features of the valley. It's always nice when you can see Baker so well defined.

I use www.fotothing.com (http://www.fotothing.com) as my image hosting location. It's a photo blogging site. Service is horrible, but the site is up and it hosts my photos well :)
Great captured moment.
Thank You Ursyn... and to think that MOST of Vancouver slept right through it ;)

Happy New Year all! Good clicking!
