The first 'n last ones are unrecoverable I'm afraid, too out of focus. #1 would've been cool if she'd have been facing you as she dove for the base.

#3 is the best, quite a cool shot. #2 is a nice shot, although she looks like she's a doing amonkey impression lol No offence if she's your daughter!

yeah still trying to get that focusing thing down......(practice right?). No she's not my daughter....lol......I guess that's just what she does when she pitches.
Yeah I wish that that 1st one would've been towards me.....would've been much better. Sometimes I guess you have to take what you can get :( .

Nice shot on #3. When I used to shoot softball, I'd pre-focus on the next (I hoped) base so I could concentrate on catching the action point of the shot. Sometimes I'd have to scramble to get something else happening! ;-)

Agree on #2 being the best. Whats the story with #4? Cant figure out why she is going so high when the ball is so low.

#4 pic........the day was horribly windy (blowing out....gusting).....I dialed in on her to try and get her just as the ball was going into her mitt. I think what happened was that all of the sudden the wind gusted and blew the ball over her head unexpectantly (since she is a very good outfielder) and she was stuck with a last chance stab at trying to get it as it went over her head. doesnt cut me any slack for nonfocusing
plus I have SOOOO got to get a monopod. that should help right?

OK, so the ball is actually behind her? It must be an optical seclusion cause it looks like it is in front of her.
