Does anyone know where I might find an L Bracket with a screw on one end that screws into your camera with a hole on the other end. I had seen them on here before where guys were making their own carrying strap, but I can't seem to find it.
Thanks in advance.

It is not clear what you mean by this. Can you be more explicit?
The L brackets from RRS for cameras without a grip or built in grip have a lug on the right side (as viewed from the rear) to attach a handstrap. Some recent models from Kirk also have this feature. All camera grips already have a handstrap lug, so its not needed as an L bracket feature.
Now the RRS L brackets have a non threaded hole on the bottom with a captive bolt that screws into the camera. In addition they also have threaded hole on the bottom very near this bolt that is the standard 1/4 in. thread if you wanted to attach the bottom of the L plate to something other than an Arca Swiss style clamp (another tripod head, generic flash bracket, etc). I hope this helps.

Mike, I was looking for an L bracket with a stud on it that screws on the bottom of your camera with a hole in the other end. Then I was looking at getting something like a rifle sling to fit over my shoulder then I could put a snap swivel on it and attach it to the L bracket, that way I could have the sling on the left shoulder, camera carried on the right side, when I got ready to use it, just pick it up and it would slide up the sling. This may not be too clear but it's the only way I know how to explain it.

What you have just described are the straps marketed by Black Rapid, Sun Sniper and others...

Agreed, you don't need an L bracket, which is mainly for landscape/portrait orientation of a quick release clamp fitting.
