I am looking for a budjet tripod to hold my 5D and 24-70 lens, it is about 2kg, and I come across this tripod (http://www.linkdelight.com/index.php/See-more-images/Support-Gears/TVM-254-Aluminium-Camera-Tripod-+-Ballhead-Kit-/Detailed-product-flyer.html) which the legs can be taken off and work as a monopod. Isn't it a good idea? Does anyone has experience with this Jusino brand?

honestly, that is one clever combo.
i've noticed though that 3rd party monopods tend to be pretty unstable to the extent that you can feel the vibrations every time you move your setup, and they had the same pole extensions as the ones you see in this setup.
i'm sure it will suit your needs. you just have to learn how to adjust with the equipment you use.

Is Benro a better brand? I know they are more expensive than Jusino, but seems like to be another Chinese brand ... do you have any experience with them and how are they compared to those big names like Manfrotto?

I've never owned a Benro tripod, so I cannot comment there. I just wanted to point out another option as I've recently saw from FredMiranda's forum and found it interesting. Based on my understanding of Benro, some people swear by them and some avoid them. Sorry, I cannot be more helpful. Others may have to chime in.
