Requesting advice on backdrops and stand

I have been shooting pets for people for the last six months or so and am finally getting calls for shoots. I have been asked to do a charity pet shoot in Feb. It is an event at a pet salon and I will be doing portraits of the pets after the grooming. Many people have already signed up. Problem is that I need a backdrop stand and some backdrops. I have read up and practiced shooting with off camera lighting (flashes on stands) and available light indoors and am getting comfortable but, have no idea what to look at in stands/backdrops. Don't want to break the bank but don't want junk either. Will be using them in the future for portraits etc. any advice on what to look for and or where would be great. :)

Alan, the good news about the backdrops is that you won't need huge backdrops. I actually bought several backdrops from Amvona and the quality is good. Of course, Denny Mfg. is also a great place to look. Good luck w/ the shoot and please post the results.

I have this backdrop stand.

It's super easy to set up and comes with a great carrying case. The first time I put it up, it took me like 2 minutes.

I also have a seamless white paper backdrop. But I wonder if their claws would tear the paper. Perhaps go with muslin?
