Took a walk about Downtown Denver last night with the family and my camera. He's what I saw:

Thanks, I just added one more to the set. I now think you ment the second one as that used to be the first. It is a beautiful building even without the Holiday lighting, but during the Christmas, New Year and all the way through to the end of the National Western Stock Show the building is even more wonderful. Inside is a different matter. You can always see people in shackles and handcuffs being walked through the halls on their way to their court dates.
The new Museum building is a recent addition and has received national attention for the architecture. That point on the end actually crosses over a road and is usable space in the museum.

Great capture of the holiday season. Very nicely done. Great way to capture the essence of the color scheme in the dark. Well done.

Well, seeing how they don't turn the lights on until 6pm, there is no choice in capturing this building with the lights on, but in the dark.
Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks Jay! Coming from you, that means a lot. I don't know if you noticed the path worn in the snow in #1, but many people have taken this same shot. Only most have to walk much, much further back into the park. But having a 10-24mm Tamron lets me not walk as far. I was still surprised how far I did have to walk back. That just says how large this building really is. Actually, last night there was another photog with his camera, tripod and mono pod (not sure why the mono pod, maybe it was a defensive thing?) taking a simular shot. He had to walk really far back. I said "Hi!" to him and he totally snubbed me. Nice Holiday spirit. Then he set up his rig right in front of me. ??? I didn't say anything and just waited for him to be done. Whatever. I wish I had taken his picture taking a picture, but I was all ready set and didn't want to mess with things.
Anyhow, Thanks!
And Thanks HIboy!
