I want to print my images but I want photo quality images. What, in your opinions, are the best camera, printer settings and paper choice for color 5x7 and 8x10 glossys. The 8x10 will be the largest print that I am able to make.

Russ,
It depends on what equipment you have. What do you have now? I assume you are just starting out?
Check out www.normankoren.com for information on digital darkroom or www.sphoto.com
There is not enough room to detail it here and it is well documented on the web already. Check them out first.
Also, try experimenting with different papers. Get sample packs of paper of different weights, finishes, etc.
Start printing. See what looks good and acceptable to your own eyes. Do some at home, go to a imaging store that can print digital and see what they can give you. If your time is a factor and you only have a few, it may be better to pay someone to do it instead of investing in a printer with recurring ink costs, etc.

Good luck,
Dave

It is very involved isn't it. I am not very computer savvy. I want to make photographs not be a computer programmer. Are there companys on the net that you can e-mail your images to and they send you a photo quality print? What are the costs like?
