Enjoy!

No reason for you to shoot more egrets, you've got so many perfect shots already. Great work.

Those are nice egret shots! Very sharp and nice detail.
Which one is snow egret? some of them have yellow feet, but some don't.

For those interested, this is what the bird in picture #5 was chewing on

They are very nice shots. #7 looks like he has an extra leg and #9's head looks quite interesting from that angle. Great capture.

Thanks witchy.

Kal, number #7 isn't a 3rd leg, its part of its tail. You only see them on adult birds. #9 is when its starting to bank away. Glad you like them, thanks :)

The Palo Alto Migratory Bird Sanctuary is kind of a smelly place, but there are hundreds of birds around, so it is what we call a target-rich environment.

When somebody walks up with a Canon camera (probably the majority), we say Hello to each other. "It looks like another Canon day."

When a Nikon shooter walks up, there isn't much said.

Bob you hang out there often? Was there yesterday and there was this dude with his 600mm f/4 and a 1D2 machinegunning away like the world was coming to an end, really would be interesting to see his work.

Thanks ImperialRed.

CDS, you are too kind, we both know you are the better photographer with a variety of bird shots and consistent quality under your belt!
