I've been taking pictures since forever, have a really decent eye for event and portrait photography but aside from reading a million books I have no "official experience". I've played around with my camera at weddings, shot some prom pictures, family photos, etc. so I have some experience but I want to know about equipment, lighting, etc.

If you're within 2 hours of where I live in Canton, CT then I would LOVE to tag along and watch you at work, carry your stuff, and/or whatever else you think might help!

I'm probably about two hours and wouldn't mind the travel to RI:) But in your message you said January 1, 2010 which was yesterday; did you mean a different date?
