I use PS CS2 and a Canon Pixma i8500 printer. I calibrate my monitor with Spyder2. I'm unable to get reliable prints that don't have a color cast [usually magenta]. What should I insert in the dialog boxes when I start with Print with Preview to get a print that more closely resembles the monitor image? THX in advance

I have a similar problem. I have PS CS2 and a Canon i9900 printer and I notice that the print does not screen. My greens are brighter and the blacks seem to have some blue in them. I'd interested in any assistance so that my prints match what I see on the monitor.

I had similar problems, then I profiled my printer/paper combinations. I got the PrintFix Suite from Colorvision (which includes the Spyder 2 Pro for monitor calibration). I have had to tweek the printer profiles that were generated just a little, but I'm getting extremely reliable results. I highly recommend it.

With this suite, what you see on your monitor matches what comes out of your printer? In my situation, as garbled as I described it, my colors on my monitor do not match my prints. The greens are brighter and the blacks have a blue tint and the blues are quite a bit brighter.
How hard is this suite to use? I'm a complete novice at color management. I'm just starting to understand my 20D and PSCS2.
