I normally use the sto fen diffuser on the 430 EX II and today took some snap shots with the flash pointed directly on the subject..., should I always reflect from the ceiling ? c&c please. Thanks

I personally would prefer to bounce off the ceiling rather than aim the flash head directly at the subject. The second shot seems a bit blurry. That lamb is making me hungry though.

Thanks, the lamb were really yummy :-)
I noticed today a few of my shots , before and following the lobster shots were not focused ( I was trying to discharge the battery as much as I can)..
off topic how do you completely discharge the battery before recharging? or do lithium batteries do not have "memory" if you recharge befre bering completed out of juice/

Li Ion batteries do not need to be fully discharged before recharging as they do not have memories like the older ones. I also have heard the fully discharging Li Ion batteries is not a good thing. Not sure if that's true or not though.
