I got up early this morning - first time in a long time - to shoot some birds. The sun was up, it was beautiful - a great morning for birds. Of course, as soon as I pulled into the spot the sun went behind some clouds and stayed there.
I was't about to forgo the swans and GBHs, so I did some shooting. They weren't close enough for my, so I slapped the 1.4TC onto the 400 Prime and shot away. Easier said than done, since the 30D won't AF with that combo.
These are all hand-held, manual focus, with the 400 Prime and 1.4 TC. They're the best of about 50 shots.
