Just grabbed a few photos, resized them and put them on a webpage if anyone wants to view them. Like I was telling people today ... you take enough shots, you get a few good ones. These are a few I like.
Also ... a few of the Canadian Snow birds. Unfortunetly, the weather was heavy overcast when they flew so I didn't get a lot of good shots of them but, for some reason, that last part of the show the sky cleared and it was perfect (except for an off shore breeze that blew the smoke into the crowd) for the Blue Angels

Hey Johneo, You got a few really nice formation shots there. That one where they were flying two up, and two down was GREAT.
Also, IMHO, that was a nice touch getting the shot of the governor of Rhode Island thanking those guys for the show. ;)

Thanks! I look forward to the Airshow here each year. It's also the reason I bought the 100-400 L last year and a big reason for buying the 10D the year before (bought it after the 2003 show when I was frustrated at geting only half a jet per frame due to shutter lag).
I'm sort of the family photographer for the Gov ... he's married to my sister (also doesn't hurt getting VIP seating for the air show ... LOL)
This year I couldn't get a lot of great shots as he greeted the pilots because there was a throng of people (just to the left in that photo) Last year it was the pilots, the Gov and his wife and me (see last years airshow link below)
