tried to wait for a plane to enter closer to the center of the moon, but this is the closest I could get

Can you post the original ? I can't put my finger on it but something your doing makes this picture look fake . For one is the moon is so bright and the plane looks so dark and thats not normal . I've seen alot of these type images and yours doesn't look right . Did you perhaps combine two images , one of the plane and the other of the moon ??

Think thats proper to be used in Astronomy ? Ever heard than in Astronomy study that images of space should be kept original as possible ??

Looks real enough...Do you have a lot of spare time on your hands??

It is from a single shot, from my front yard, with my 500
I lightened the background to help bring out more of the plane

my front yard, it's a bit of a crop, had several planes fly over that night and this one was the closest to the moon

I finally see whats throwing the whole picture off . The moon has a black edge all around it . Thats whats not normal . As bright as the moon is here there should not be a blackened edge . Have you got a way to change that ?? It would look much better .

it was caused by the quick masking to bring the moon back when I lightend the back ground, will work on it some more when get the time
