I'm really liking the Tamron lens. I feel it was a good decision to buy just the XT Body and then the Tamron lens to go with it. I've added a 50mm 1.8 and learning how to get the most out of the two lenses.

This is a nice portrait of Father and Son. Very nice exposure. If you can duplicate this shot without all the distractions in the background, you'll have a nice one to frame and hang on the wall. :D
