Wedding photos from a few months back...

I have been playing around with some wedding photos I took a few months back in Photoshop. Just trying to get a good soft filter look on these shots. I took these with a 300D and kit lens. What do you think?

The first shot is way blown out from the window lighting. The second is better, the background could be better. Also you might try to blur everything but the eyes. Sharp eyes often make a picture. Thats my 2 cents, continue shooting.

I actually didn't take the first shot. The fellow in the photo is me, I handed the camera off to someone else so I could get a shot with my wife. I thought it was a little bright when I worked with it.

I know what you mean. I have roughly 5000 pictures and maybe 3 with me in it. While I do not long to be the subject of photos, it would be nice is someone else would care enough to learn enough to take a decent picture. Green box is only so good you know.
