with my wife and kids led me to a few of the flying dragons and damsels. Here are a few of the days catches. All shots with 300D and 100-400L handheld.

Nice job! Handholding that long lens, kids and wife in tow, you definately deserve Father's Day.

Geoff, it seems everytime I go to this lake I can't get up close with my Sigma 105. So I thought I would try the 100-400 and it seems to have worked out well. I have thought that after buying the 105 that the 180 would have worked out much better but I think you can get good shots out of anything you have in your bag if you practice enough.

Nice shots! I like the way the light through the wings can be seen on the surface of the weeds. (millfoil?)
