The sun popped through the clouds this afternoon so we ran outstide and took a couple of pictures.

The sunlight was bouncing off the side of our house and I used a flash for fill.

Please let me know if these look dark. I just now realized someone cranked the brightness all the way up on my monitor :(

Now these look dull...

They look good to me as well.

Your daughter has a very pretty eyes, and you do a good job of capturing them.

Thank you. Hopefully it stays clear. We are heading to the coast early in the morning and I want to see some blue sky.

Thanks. Her eyes are fun to take pictures of and then check out at 100% the color intensity changes from day to day so it's always nice to look. Something I probably wouldn't ever do if it weren't for my camera.

I think I just fried my eyes with a super bright monitor. They look ok to me too now that I had time away from the screen :)

I don't think they look dark... :)

I know you left the fence in the first shot on purpose.. because of the framing of your scene..

I think it would work better on a horizontal shot.. simply because at the vertical axis, it seems to compete for attention. At first glance my eye goes to the white fence, then the plant leaves and 3rd to her face.... I'd rather fall to her face first and then travel over to the fence.... :) I like the fence.. i just want it to be more of an afterthought... (sorry if that's not nice).

Love #2... simply because I'm a headshot gal.. ;)

Lovely pictures and very sharp. Like #1, except for the fence as "kristy" mentioned above.

So was your flash mounted on top of camera? Did you have the power on flash very low?
