Cromer puts on a free fireworks display on the pier on New Years Day. Was very cold this year, with a cold breeze coming in from the North Sea. Well worth going next year - starts around 5pm.

Nice shots, we were there as well but the other side of the pier....
Agree it was damn cold! didn't have my camera with me, but hopefully next year. Did you hand hold these?

Thanks.
Tripod. Shutter speeds ranged from 8s to 30s. I wouldn't have bothered taking the camera without a tripod.

Was gonna bow low if they were HH LOL!
You did well to find room to set a tripod up as it was well packed along the front, a good turn out considering the weather

No 1 is my favorite. It has lots of fireworks plus (and this is why I prefer it) a bridge and people to give the shot context. I'm a sucker for context in fireworks shots, but lots prefer shots like your 2nd one. To me, the 2nd one says "fireworks" while the 1st says "Cromer fireworks."

Thanks. My favourite is 1 as well. I needed a wider angle lens, I slightly regret selling my 10-20 earlier in the year!
