We went to the Cohunu Wildlife park on Sunday, it was a great day. These Wedge-tailed eagles are unable to fly due to injuries.

Thanks guys :)

Steve, yep the beak is impressive..such a shame that these birds will never be free again. There were 4 of them and 3 looked healthy enough but the 4th one was all puffed up and looked terrible :(

Idiots shoot these birds!! can you believe that?..They are now endangered and if it doesn't stop we will lose our most impressive eagle :(

Nice shots. I once came across a dead roo in the middle of a very country road that had an obviously very hungry wedgie munching away as it allowed me to pull over no more that 10 feet away and observe it having a very messy lunch.

I watched for several minutes before another car came along and the show had to end.

That was, unfortunately, before I risked taking my 300D to work. I have taken it with me everywhere since then, but have never had the opportunity arise again.. :(
