I got to use my new EOPS 7D in anger at the RI Classic track and field invitational, here are a few panning shots from my first day out with the new bosy (the lens was 70-200mm f/2.8)

I am usually NOT a fan of panning shots, but these look GREAT!

I'd be interested to see how sharp the focus is at a higher resolution.

Awesome job on the panning, but what strikes me is how calm the men look, they all look like they're sleep running.

Nicely Done!

I just got my 7D and am still working on which focusing mode I should be using. Which mode did you select to get these nice shots?

Thanks,

Andy

you're supposed to run as relaxed as possible, otherwise, you tighten up and slow down.
