I will be looking for the links too
I normally use the blue painters tape because it leaves no residue, but I'd like to find a roll of Black Gafers tape so it doesnt stand out so much

I've never used this brand, but I saved the link after having had it highly recommended on a forum.

I had some of the cloth tape but didn't like it.

Paint masking tape ^^ made by Tesa, thin version. ^^ Holds gels in place well and dont leave any marks on flashes also works well to stick a bit on floor to mark point where light is metered for and can be later removed easily. Other than that i guess it wont hold much :)

Just be sure you never confuse Duct Tape for Gaffer's Tape...
Definately not the same thing!

Maybe I should clarify my statement. I use the gaffers tape when running exension cords or mounting strobes on light stands in the basketball gym. I tape the legs to the floor so hopefully no one will come by and trip over the leg. I have used duck tape but I don't like the sticky residue.
I have used the gaffers tape to hold my skyport transmitter in the hot shoe as well as tape the lens focus ring in place so it won't move when it is set up on a remote camera and I have pre focus the lens.

The one at the shop.
Serious though, I don't use gaffer tape. I use stuff that's sorta like really wide electrical tape. It doesn't have that super sticky stuff on the back, but it still works well enough.
I also have the black stuff in case it's a fairly heavy traffic area.
Something like this:

It also comes in black etc.
