I am updating my website, and have looked at other photgraphers sites about Prices, printing, etc.
I have made one page so far as for Ordering Prints and the Source File, as a JPG or TIFF.
http://www.ekreating.com/gallery/buy.php
Please take a look and tell me what you think. Is there anything you would definetly change, leave out, add, etc.
Any feedack is grealty appreciated .
I plan on incorporating the web ordering system through EE when the new version comes out.
Thanks

Eric - Awfully wordy. It is not necessary to explain every statement. You have a very short time before their attention wanders. Example: "We use Kodak paper exclusively". In place of what you have.
Customers are looking for information not dialogue.
Pop up to www.pbase.com/jpferguson
Look at my order form.

Maybe separate this into a "About your files" & "Ordering your prints"?
And do you really want them to know where you get their prints?

LOL ... the first time I went to the page, I immediately said, "I don't feel like reading all of that." Clicked off.

When writing for the web:
- Write in bullet points
- Short and concise
- Use good spacing to make it easy on the eyes
Use Bold text to highlight the really important stuff.

Absolutely ditto on that. Remember the the web surfer is a person that usually just needs informations, and needs them quickly and easily. I suggest to get trough one of the many, many books that are out there about web usability.

Like everyone else, I don't care for the wordiness.
I also think you are giving away your work. I am not sure who your audience is, but you might consider that from what I have seen, your print prices are below what most photo-artists sell similarly-sized photographic prints for, assuming these aren't just ink-jet prints.
To include shipping in the prices means that for each one, you are out $2-$5 for envelopes, cardboard stiffeners and postage (and insurance?).
