I'm doing a small wedding Saturday ... my first digital. I've been reading about the the flash automatically underexposing? The bride will probably have on white. So do I need to set the flash to overexposed?
I've done many film weddngs and they came out pefect.

if it is low light, I usually do Manual 1/60-1/125 with +2/3 flash compensation and bouncing flash, but I always come an hour earlier and test light condition, take lots of test shots, get right white balance, etc....

OK. With my 10s I always shot 5.6/60 no comp, and always told the lab to make the print by exposing for skin complexion. Got them back always perfect. Thanks for the advice.

You will find that with a camera like this, flash metering is handled a lot differently from a film camera. There has been a lot written in this forum on this very subject.
Excellent results can be had by shooting RAW, getting the exposure as close as possible, then viewing the RAW file in your RAW converter and tweaking it in there. Then, your resulting TIF should be perfect.
