Glad that you are enjoying the use of your camera, and the image is a good exercise in close-up photography. Shows off the thinness of the DOF. However, you posted in the Critique Corner, not the Photo Sharing forum. It would be easier for us to respond meaningfully if you stated what issues you wanted to discuss.

I like the composition of the shot, looks great...

I have made it into day four of a similar exercise, it would be interesting if there was a link to a number of folk doing the same thing somewhere. Rather than posting each image that everyone has taken maybe a series of links to the hosting sites?
