So I just picked upt he Canon SD300 4.0 megapixel camera, after being very happy with my S400 for 2 years.

Here's my problem:

On my S400 I would take most of my pictures at 1024x768 Resolution / ISO of 50 / Superfine.
when viewing them in Photoshop @ 100% they looked very crisp and clear.

I took close to 150 photos with my new SD300 over the weekend, but I took them with the resolution at
1600x1200 / ISO of 50/ and Superfine.

I zoomed in to view my photos 100% in Photoshop...and they look like CRAP.
They're very very pixelated, and a bit blurry in every photo. Its just not CRISP and clear when Im viewing at 100%....I'm so frustrated. Why on earth would this be happening? It literally looks like my photos were taken with a 3.0 megapixel or something. The quality is just horrible.

Is it becuase its a 4.0 megapixel? If so, I didn't notice this problem on my OTHER Canon?
Or is this becuase I'm taking photos at a higher resolution?
Are my settings wrong?

Can anyone help? I would appreicate it. !!!!! Thank you!

I think its to do with what percent your looking at them i.e 100% may not be right for the size of image 1600x1200 if im right 25% smaller or bigger should make them look right .
sorry i dont know the reason but it is talked about in the cs video.

Really? for Photoshop CS?

Thats interesting....I've never heard that. I mean, yeah when the image opens up it opens up at 25%, but I thought that was just for size viewing, as pertains to the size of your screen.

Do you know then, if thats the case, if my photos will PRINT like that? or if they'll come out crisp??
