I hope i am putting this in the correct section. My camera is a 95 and I carry my manual around with me while I take pictures, so I can learn and practice with the settings. This morning I took a walk around my neighborhood (tripod in tow) and practiced some landscape shots. The first image is ok, while as soon as I zoom in and adjust the MF to enfinity, so I can get a closer shot, the image blurs. Also, I read in my manual, that if the (camera shake icon appears) to use focus lock. I am having trouble figuring out how to do this. I am reading the manual over and over, but may either be missing this, or just not understanding it. Any help and advice would be sooo appreciated.

Also, if its that I need a special wide angle or telephoto lense to take particular distances, what could I get for the A 95 ( I read in the back of the manual, but no price range was stated) for under $50.

Do I have to turn off "auto focus" in the "menu" or is it located in the Av mode as well?

Also, how do I obtain the close up, if i am zoomed "min"?

Thank you so much I will write this down and try this.
