My sister wanted a picture of her and her kids whille the oldest was in town briefly from college. The background came out better than I thought it would.

I finally got the file small enough to upload. Can I not point to an image on my own ftp site??

I can't help you with your problem regarding your site, but I really like your photo!
What settings did you use on your camera? I am trying to accomplish this look as well...I was thinking AV mode with fill flash? ISO 200 white balanced for flash or shade?

Hi John,
White balance was set on shade. I shot in manual mode. I don't know about your camera, but my canon exposes for the background when I shoot on A with flash so I get REALLY long shutter speeds. I always use flash on M and start at 1/200 and then just roll the dial until the histogram looks right.
Thanks for your comment!
