yesterday, did stop some traffic in the UK.

Traveling home yesterday, the sky was heavy with thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.

Here's two shots I managed whilst waiting for the guy in front to go through a deep "puddle?" The only way through was to use the central island to lift two wheels out above the water - it's still suprising how many couldn't wait and tried to go through the deepest side, only to become stranded!


Apologies if its in the wrong section - didn't know if it should be transport, nature or urban life, still don't I suppose it's a little of all those!

We had something like that here in Edmonton last year. So much rain that entire freeways became rivers! Nice shots you too there.

David, you really ought to move to Scotland, the weather is SO much better:D

Mind you I'm not sure that the Scots could cope with your awful sense of humour:p

Move back to Scotland! - Funny, been looking at a house in the "Borders" just to gain a foothold back in the land I love!

Lived and worked in Edinburgh for 18 years - that's why I developed the strange/awful sense of humour - it was all the English visitors! - Sooner the better the Scots bring in Passport Control!!!!!!:lol: ;) :lol:
