No sign of dodgy tyres, disgruntled fans and blame-mongering - just some good old-fashioned leather on willow from the weekend.
Facing up to some off-spin...

I'm sure across the pond where he is they do! I'm still a bit fuzzy on it though...
Then again I still have a problem understanding the need for the dropped third strike rule in baseball.

Well those shots just sum up the appeal of the game, you have done a marvellous job, gmen. they make me want to stretch out on a deck chair and applaud in a polite manner.

Such action, concentration and emotion.
That does it. I've gotta learn more about that game.

Mate, those shots capture the emotion of the game spledidly!
Yeah it's pretty much one of the top national sports here down under, although at the moment it's a sad state of affairs for the Aussie circketers......hammered in the 20/20, beaten by an English county side, beaten by the lowest rank team in the world in a 1 dayer (AUS is 1st), heartbreaking loss in 1 dayer against you Poms!, one of our top players suspended for getting drunk before a match...our fastest bowler injured!....where will it end???
Gmen, ok now your turn to rub our noses in it..:)
It's ok, we'll retain the Ashes and all will be rosy again... :D ...i hope....

It's really simple.
What's so hard to understand about a game that can go for 5 days, end in a draw and still be exciting? :p

Somehow the guy in question hit 172! I don't think the opposition were very good, however, as they were subsequently bowled out for 38 chasing a target of 402!
These were shot with the 300mm f/2.8 + 2x extender...

getting beat by low class sides, bad team perfomance, as a fan of English cricket, been there, done that and bought the T shirt. only diffence is the Aussies will be back on top form soon and not a laughing stock for over a decade.
Rant over.
Again well done for capturing the essential spirit of the game. Love to see more of your work.
