Hi everyone, I am having problems with my a590 is. I had been using a 560 since 2 years and thought that I can improve my skills with a590 IS and bought one. But the result is a disaster for me.

My biggest problem is that most of my photos are blurred. I thought that buying a590 IS will solve my problems that I was having with a560. I thought that IS function will be very useful for me. Since I could not see any notice about IS function, I guess a590’s image stabilizing process do not have any button to turn on/off. So I thought “fine no need for any effort to turn the IS on”.
But taking photos with my new a590 IS became a disaster for me. Especially indoor photos are very blurred. I am a rookie about photography techniques, but I become very disappointed as I see that my friend’s simple Sony digital camera takes much better photos ( without a tripod). I try not to shake the camera but no use. If there is not enough light, my photos become terrible. Moreover I even can not ask somebody to shoot my photo indoors. Because photos will be much worse since nobody thinks that they should stand still like a robot in order to take a simple photo. If there is any shake, the photo becomes blurred.
But during daytime in outdoors, the performance is ok. Even makro performance is good for me in low light. (like 0541.jpg on Flickr)
I have stupidly drop the camera two times, but I do not think that it will affect the quality of my photos this much. There is nothing wrong with the camera (nothing broken etc) And there is no problem with my lens, it seems clean (without any dust, dirt etc.)
I suspect that I am doing something wrong while taking photos,: I was using high ISO in low light or at night or indoors in order to have sharp photos and it ruined all my travel photos (extreme noise). As an a560 user I should have known this but I forgot.
But my other photos with auto ISO turned on, they are also blurred.
or my expectations from a590IS are too high. I just do not know…
