Over the fence a short bit ago. She was grazing on the neighbor's lawn and shrubs. She didn't seem to mind my presence and at one point came within 20 feet of me. I tried to switch to my 70-200 from the 400, however, my daughter ran up at about that time and spooked her away!

We had deer in our garden. They ate all the roses. So we don't grow roses anymore. Now we don't get deer. Shame really - I preferred the deer. Nice pictures - thanks for sharing

Thanks for looking and I am sorry to hear that you no longer have these wonderful visitors. I cannot get enough of them and only wish that I did not have a fenced yard (2 dogs). There is a good sized buck running around here lateley as well, 6 point and wonderful color, still in velvet. I only see him after dark though!!
