Spent a few hours last week at Niagra Falls. I hadn't been there in quite a while, so everything seemed new to me - a good sign if you want to take pictures!
Here's the Maid of the Mist getting a close-up view of the Canadian Falls...

Scott,
Just GREAT work - the American Falls at night shot is just amazing! I had no idea they used the multi-colored lights like that at night. Looks like you used a slightly slower shutter speed for that night shot as well as the water has that "dreamy" look to it. Am I correct? Good work - all with the 20D or with one of the more "portables"...?

Great images! You have captured the essence of Niagara in these photos. All aspects of her beauty are represented. It has been about 15 years since I last visited NF, far too long seeing these photos!!!

Thanks, Jared! You should go to the Falls someday, at least just to say that you've seen them - they're quite impressive in person. They shine colored lights on them every night, and the colors change every few minutes. I saw a show about that once; they program different color combinations and they slide different colored gels over the lights. Every now & then, the colors will be pure white, which is impressive, too. The night shot was taken at 4 seconds.
Shhh, don't tell anyone - they were all taken with my Leica Digilux 2)
