A bit too dark for me. I'm sure it was pretty, but your sensor didn't capture it here.

Very nice top half of the picture. But there is no discernable separation between the top and the reflection in the water. Just a bit more detail in the dark middle section - where somewhere the water edge should be, might make it perfect.

same as the others- very dark. did you take any more exposed pictures you could blend it with?
alternatively, try cropping just below the treeline. Then its just a silhouette on the sky (which is gorgeous). That might work.

maybe you could cut out part of the dark section and bring the water closer to the sky.

hey thanks for the comments guys! i actually took this while driving and the reflection is just something i added in photoshop. thought it made the picture more interesting. i like midnights idea, getting rid of some of the black it is a little over powering. have any ideas for making a distiguished line between the two horizons? since i took this driving, this was kind of a one shot deal
