I took these pictures of daisies that grow on my front lawn. Instead of mowing them over I mow around them. At first there was only two or three but now there are dozens of them.

Instead of mowing them over I mow around them. At first there was only two or three but now there are dozens of them. :D:D I did that last year with dandylions & the neighbors didn't know what to think!
Those are nice shots, though I prefer natural colors.

Thanks Frank. I usually preffer pictures in original color too but for the first one the grass was half dead and I remember what you guys said about my Dandilion pictures with the grass being such a distraction so I made it B&W.
The second one though I think looks kind of cool. I've noticed just like Dandilions taking pictures of these flowers isn't as easy as pressing the shutter button. I did a few that way and the turned out over exposed because of their color, white and yellow. And those colors I have found the hardest colors to get detail from.
The funnest way to learn how to take pictures though is by doing. Books help but nothing beats trial and error :)
