Question about selling on POTN (for you experienced sellers)

I've never sold anything online.

I have a couple of bodies, lenses, etc. to sell.

What I would like to know is if selling camera gear on POTN follows old, traditional patterns in that after Christmas and thru January sales are traditionally down in retail and otherwise.

For the best price and response, would it be best to wait until Feb.? March?

I think people generally put things up for sale for the amount they reasonably expect to get for them. Personally, if I was selling something over the Holiday/January period, I wouldn't discount the price just because the high street stores are.
