Really nice shots!! I'll be just south of Fletcher Cove on Saturday and Sunday surfing and then hopefully taking a few shots after i get out of the water!! The swell is supposed to be good this weekend!!

You misspelled Swamis.

When there are crowds like that, it's pronounced Swarmies.

;)

I love that place, and Tamarack. Had good times at Cardiff too.

Haha thats funny Mike, Im going to use swarmi's when its packed.

For the most part if you surf at swamis on a big day you better be experienced..... So there is a general understanding of where you should and shouldn't be when someone is riding a wave and timing plays a big part in that.

Thanks, the first shot was taken when it was cloudy and I was shooting in P mode at:
Shutter: 1/500
Aperture: f 8.0
ISO: 400

The other shots (most of them) in partly cloudy conditions
Shutter: 1/800
Aperture: f 10.0
ISO: 400

Heck yeh it should be..... Check out the long forecast for next Thursday, 8.5ft!!!

#1 almost conveys how crowded Swamis can get on a good swell...
thanks for sharing, get your cameras ready for tomorrow and Sunday (and next Wed/Thurs)!!
