That's pretty cool. Where did you take this from? I'm guessing it was the little overlook on Mulholland, above the Hollywood Bowl, but the angle doesn't look quite right.

Great Work! It's amazing how flat LA is.

Looks like a scene out of T2, just before the huge flames come in Sarah Connor's dream.

yeah thanks, it's definitely got that post apocalyptic vibe to it.

Imperitus & jopfin, it's funny, a few other people I've showed it to said it looks like a model. I guess the IR gives it a kind of surreal fakeness or something.

I love these. I'm trying to figure out why it looks like a model - did these look like that out of the camera, or did you do some post that helped with that effect? Regardless, they are wonderful images.

ACK! I guess it would help if I actually LOOKED AT THE SUBJECT LINE - ha! IR - that explains why it looks this way. Nice!

thanks guys, it's a while since this thread was last active. I actually redid that pano recently because there where a few things that bothered me about it. My PP skills have improved a lot since I first tried it.

the colour version isn't that great, it's kinda dark gray/green land and brown smog-filled sky. The IR really brightens up the foreground with all the white foliage.
