HI everyone, I was riding in a local charity bike ride (all riders get a pie and t-shirt at the end) on Saturday. I decided to get there early and take some people shots. One of the organizers approached me and said " I noticed you have a nicer camera than me (she had a point and shoot film camera), If your interested, could you e-mail me what youve taken? One of the local papers wanted some shots and I would be willing to pay you for them"
What a happy day! I sent her some of the pics, she and I have come to a very modest arrangement (it is for charity after all) and I will be getting some local exposure! Here is a collage of a few of the prints that I just whipped up in PS elements and I want to approach her about some possible brochure work.
What do you think? I know I will be needing model releases for that aspect of the job, and being a non-profit group which I whole-heartedly support, I feel that pricing shouldn't be too high, but at the same time I would like to recoup some of my costs.
Any suggestions would be welcome!
