Hi Guys,

This is my first wedding as a "paid" photographer. I made a few mistakes (forgetting to change the ISO when you flash for example), so I think the next one I'll grow that much more! Thanks for taking the time to look.

Watch your processing and leveling...the wall and curtains are white and gray in the first pic, but brown in the second, plus the second is tilted, all can be fixed in photoshop. I like the last one the best.

Pretty good from these samples, though they all seem to have a high level of noise. Though with #2, it is very crooked and if you are going to do a photo like this.. the framing elements need to be straight.

Not really. The angle suggests that we're peaking into the ceremony. Effective, IMO. There's no rule.

They're all very, very good for a first wedding. And I like the noise. It adds to your style.

I would straighten out number 2 as well. Otherwise it is not tilted enough for that "peeking in" look imo. I definitely like the lighting in the first 2 shots. For the 4th shot in the mirror, it was the third time that I looked at it when I realized the photo was taken of the couple on the mirror, you may have wanted to get a little more of the mirror's edge in it to really let the viewer know. I would be all over the last one if it was less noisy. If you cleaned it up a bit it would be awesome! Overall, great job on your first wedding, you will do great down the road!

The white balance looks a tad off in a few of these....bit too orange. Easily fixed if you shot in raw. I really like the noise in the last..just adds to the dramatic effect of the shot.

I agree with all the comments. The tilt I will definetly correct before handing them over. Now that I see the photos side by side, the white balance is off on them. I'll re-do them in lightroom. The noise I couldn't do much about. The lighting was a tad dark and I didn't use flash on them when I think I should have. I pushed the ISO 3200 on the 5D2, and tried some noise reduction but didn't work that great. I do think the grain does as a certain "look" to the photos though. Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated.
