personally I prefer the second - but what do I know
Cute kid though – were these produced manually or do you have a script ???

Very nice. I wish dad's head was not cut off in the top photo. Would you mind sharing how you did the frames for the two color insets of the baby alone?
thanks

In the first, i don't think the black and white photo fits the blue text very well... esp. if you're going to have a second photo that's color. Also, the color photo in the first has some areas missing of the actual face.
The second collage has the same issue. Also, the picture in the far right's border needs to be cleaner, and could use some level adjustment in PS.
Additionally, there's a black borderline missing at the top that's bothering me.
I think you have good idea, yo just need to keep working on them.
Pdrow, it looks like he used a stroke of grey, then added a drop shadow in PS. These things can be manipulated via the layer's "Blending options".

thanks, i did not even notice the dad'd head a little cut off. I'll look back on the orig photo if i just cropped wrong or just the way i took them. I was at their house working on 8x10 ft room. that was their brightest room
yes you can do stroke on the pic insert and add drop shadow. You can CTRL+click on their own layer palette then add stroke

manually done in PS CS. I'm still working on them individually till i find which one i like most then probably create an action

i did notice that missing part of the face on first pic. was just too lazy to run run the brush on the layer mask when i created it
the missing top borderline--i don't know why it was missing on certain pic size but they show up in bigger and smaller version
the pic on the far right was a little soft on the original(due to low light and slow shutter) so i did a soft focus effect on it instead

Interesting idea! (But a touch too "creative" for me.) ;-)

If there's a demand, why not provide the supply.

thanks guys
exposingmyself/ayotnoms:
yes i have more demands on the collages than regular pics
i guess they get more than 1 picture in 1 sheet of paper, huh. LOL
i went to an equestrian 4 weeks ago and i sold a few collages
i'm going again this weekend and intend to acquire more customers when i show
them my finished products
my previous customers already asked me to take their pics again
hopefully i can sell more to finance my hobby

Hey, whatever you can do to get the extra cash to finance more/better photographic gear...
Heck, I might have to test the collage market here in NorCal. LOL
Good Luck!
