Haha, Yuba, that sounds so mean!

All three are awesome photos, with great lighting and processing.
Chair does look fairly comfortable.

The one of you and of the chair are great, wonderful color and light; the one of your wife looks a little yellowish, at least on my monitor......

My husband will tell me I liked the one of you cuz you're a cutie!

Heh...ok looking back I see that it may sound mean.

I'm a newbie and I'm trying to learn about the various technical aspects.

No offense intended to the OP - I just meant as a picture, the chair really jumped out at me for the colors and composition. It's a more stunning photo imo.

The first is tilted a bit too much for my tastes.

The 3rd would be a bit better without the bits of wall and whatever the other thing is just slightly jutting into the frame, I think.

Really sharp photos-the self portrait is amazingly sharp. I dig the warmth of the colors too.

Ha...no worries, Yuba. I didn't take it personally. It is a beautiful chair.

I appreciate all the great comments! I've been working on a new process for sharpening so it's good to get some feedback on that. The one of my wife was done a few months back so that's why it may look a little different in terms of color and sharpness.

Keep 'em coming...

Yes please, it doesn't look sharpened. It just looks sharp.

First is a great self...light and hue are wonderful.

Second.she is adorable! Why give her the jaundice color? I like this crop the best.

I agree about moving the chair. The corner of the wall and the top corner of the chair meet up .

I was going to share my sharpening process, but then Yuba said my wife was ugly...Ha!

Kidding...I'm still trying to refine it a bit. I'll try to post a quick tutorial when I finish. It involves Lightroom + Photoshop.
