Afternoon Candid Shot

I took this shot of my wife today... It was late afternoon and she was looking out the front window... Pictures like this are why a good fast lens is a "must have" in the camera bag. This was taken with the 50mm 1.4 hand held in very low light. Actually, the only light source was the setting sun.

Nice pic, but strange shadow on her face, makes me think of one of those sports fanatics that paint their faces in the team colors.

Those were my first thoughts, too. You can't see the window, so why not hang some diffusing material (like translucent wrapping paper) over it? ;-)
