This one was one of my more challenging ones... since the wedding didn't START 'till 6:00, I had to do all of the family photos, group shots, and bride and groom shots in complete darkness.... Great venue, but couldn't really capture the beauty of it with the bride and groom since it was dark.... I was pretty bummed.
Anyways, CC much appreciated

4. I know, I know... the church is crooked... BUT IT IS.. the foundation is straight, but the church is actually crooked... Drove me crazy in post, 'till I realized it wasn't me... It was the 90 yr old church lol

the tilted church kills me. I think it may be better to have the foundation a little off and have the structure correct. Looking at it, the foundation still looks a little off too. The last one, nice concept, but they looks out of focus or blured.

okay... it bothered me enough to play with it. I noticed it was also cropped at an different ratio. so, crop cut out some of the top and bottom. rotated it so where the header of the portico was level. porch roof bottom edge. and then notice that thing was really leaning still. Obviously old and in weathered condition. So, distorted it to get the center line, down the middle of the doors as vertical as possible without looking too funny. It's pretty close. Also, just for fun, cleaned up that bottle and the door hinges and handles. thoughts?

Thanks, Scott... It does look more straight than mine... I can't tell you how crazy that dang church made me....I spent way too much time trying to fix it in other photos.
Brandi,
Thanks... I know, it really was gorgeous... that's why I was so bummed that 80% of the venue was covered at night :(
Lana,
Thanks, girl!

Lolly,
Thank you :)

I feel like this was one of my weaker weddings.... I just hope the client doesn't think so. I'm lacking the confidence on this one (if I even have it on the others, lol)
Of course, I didn't give the client any hint of this

ok Jules, there's no reason for your client to doubt your outstanding work! Your photos are fantastic and I'm sure their experience with you was amazing! /on the side note I know exactly how you feel ;)/

You did a good job having to deal with night. The father/daughter shot is awesome, definitely lots of emotion from both of them. I wonder how it would look black and white or better yet a vintage look.

Lastly, what sort of lighting did you use for #5?

For some reason I love number 5. Something about the positioning I like
