I REALLY like the first shot...looks like it's right out of a magazine....

The 2nd doesn't do AS much for me but maybe that's because the first one is so awesome.

Nice job.

in my book you did everything right! Looks fantastic. Sharpness, great color, not blown out, great colors, exposed the background brilliantly.

Looks pretty good. Did you use an brightness adjustment layer around his head in the first? I can see some slight halos.

Nice job on the lighting! Just a nit on #2, try cropping out that thing that is hanging over.

@darkness77
i buy it from my friend the dvd ...

@willejr
the black one on the top that hanging it's a roof ... i just get confused to crop it out or just let it be there ... coz if i crop it ,i'll loose lil part of the sky ...
but thx for the suggestion .. ^^

Myself being a loyal follower of ZA, i think you did very well!

The first shot is the better of the two IMO...nice composition, lighting and an overall, good, dramatic feel to the image. The second...there is too much light fall off on the left side of his face and he looks sort of annoyed and looks to be in a somewhat unnatural position....maybe its just me? I think pulling the light to the left just a little bit would have helped...

Either way, good job!

I think it'sinteresting that today we work to get an effect that we tried hard to avoid 30 years ago.
