I'm thinking of printing this as an 8x10, but I'm not sure if I want to leave it as is, change it to sepia, b&w, etc...

Also... I'm a little unsure about the blur factor. I didn't use a tripod (didn't have it with me). Should I do any sharpening/editing in photoshop? Any comments?

Edit: It would help if I linked the pic, eh? haha

Hi,
I would leave the color as is - blue gives a feeling of water and works well. I personally don't think you need to sharpen, since sharpening will not fix blurs of this nature. Instead, you may want to further accentuate the blur, since the picture is to do with flowing water - so even something like applying a gaussian blur (radius 2-3) in a new layer, setting mode to multiply and decreasing opacity in photoshop may make it more etheral (and somewhat of the artistic retouching category, though)

My only suggestion is to do something about the rock in the lower right corner - its big, bright and takes focus away from the water - cropping/burning may help.

Just my opinion, anyway :-)

I agree on the color. You can always try a little sharpening if it doesn't do anything just undo.

The nice thing about digital is that you can try a number of different things, and keep the one(s) you want!
