Recover ctg Files

I took 35 - 40 images on my PowerShot S100 changed the battery then took a further 20 images. When I went to view them I could only veiw the last 20. When I put the Flash Card in my reader it shows 2 Files with a ctg how do I get them back ??

I would try a photo recovery program like PhotoRecovery for Digital Media. Here's a link: http://www.lc-tech.com/software/prwindetail.html There are some freebies available on the Internet too. You may want to search the Internet for "photo recovery software."
