Darrell_F -
I usually get bored with seeing flower shots, but your shot is very good. Great for hand held with on camera flash too.
May I ask what file size you saved to to show in this gallery ? The quality is very good. Much better than usual which caught me eye.
I am having problems with resizing my photos down for viewing or email. Either file too big and takes forever to load or smaller file and poor quality.
thanks,
Dave

Agree that flowers are boring. Twenty years ago I would have been taking pictures of girls. Getting old sucks. Maybe with some sunshine, I'll post a landscape next time.
I shoot with my G2, Super Fine Quality level and JPEG format. I've found no advantage to RAW given the much larger file size.
Open with PhotoShop Elements and adjust.
Save one full size jpg and then resize for Web and save that as second (copy) jpg. I don't like to scroll images on my site so I set width to max 800 pixels or height to max 500 pixels. I save with highest quality compression level. The yellow orchid was 667 x 500 pixels, 245Kb file size. Provides good video quality and reasonable load time.
I transfer the web sized to my site and use the address from my site to display image here.
